It's baaaaack... the hard workin', tire greasin', trash talkin', MCAA Spot Landing Contest! All pilots are welcome (students are too, if you bring your instructor along for the ride) and it only costs $10 to play. The rules are simple: Stabilized approaches that terminate with smooth landings on the target earn the most points. The pilot who does this the best wins the pot. Landings are scored by an "esteemed" panel of judges (I guess that depends on who you ask) who sit by the runway making rude gestures. Just kidding. The point of this event is to promote traffic pattern safety, and to have a great time doing it.
If you're interested, meet us in the GAI terminal building classroom at 9 a.m. Bring your game face and your best stick and rudder skills. See you then.
