Noise Abatement Brochure Available Articles / News Date: Jan 29, 2010 - 09:38 AM Attention GAI Pilots and Visitors Please review the new noise abatement brochure produced by the Montgomery County Revenue Authority (MCRA). The policy has not changed and reflects existing procedures published in the Airport/Facility Directory... what's new is the color map showing the noise sensitive areas surrounding the airport. The brochure offers helpful tips to pilots on how to fly safely and reduce your noise profile when departing GAI. Copies of the brochure are available at the airport. MCAA hosted a meeting at the airport on Monday, January 25 at which we distributed copies of the brochure to representatives of each of the resident flying clubs. We also showed an AOPA video titled "Flying Friendly." Airport manager John Luke and AOPA manager of airport policy John Collins were available to answer questions.
